The Korean government is pushing to build hydrogen charging stations nationwide to become energy independent.
Unlike general coolers, hydrogen charging stations require special coolers. Hyundai ENG, a Korean company specializing in industrial coolers, has supplied hydrogen charging stations in major regions such as the National Assembly and Incheon International Airport, as well as hydrogen charging stations in various overseas countries.
Unlike general-purpose coolers that can be used at room temperature, hydrogen charging stations use synthetic oil due to problems such as freezing to realize appropriate temperatures.
Hyundai ENG's cooler is an ideal product that can be flexibly arranged with a hydrogen dispenser, and is always charged within the range of T40 (-33~-39℃).
Recently, Hyundai ENG unveiled an additional family of inverter-type coolers that are easy to save energy along with coolers for hydrogen charging stations. Hyundai ENG officially introduced its inverter-type cooler product line at the KOPLAS 2023 site, Korea's largest plastic and rubber exhibition.

An intelligent controller is applied to Hyundai ENG's high-performance inverter cooler. With PID control, it is possible to maintain a temperature control of ±0.1℃ under a stable load.
The BLDC inverter compressor, condenser fan motor, and electronic expansion valve increase the energy saving rate of the cooler, and maximize energy efficiency by immediately responding to the maximum and minimum cooling loads. It also improved energy efficiency and the surrounding environment by maintaining constant condensation pressure and stabilizing cycles by applying high efficiency and BLDC fan motors.
Meanwhile, an official from Hyundai ENG said, "Coolers can achieve energy savings of more than 30% compared to constant-speed coolers with variable frequency control."
